Target Audience

When ever marketing and advertising is involved with a product, (film, magazine, item, etc...) a target audience will always be needed. A target audience primary group of people that, that product is aimed at. A target audience can be people of a certain age group, gender, marital status, etc. (For example; teenagers, men, women or single people, etc). The target audience I am aiming this film trailer at are people ranging from late teens to late 20's, for both the male and female genders. I have chosen this range of people because they are the percentage of the population that are going to go out and spend money on horror films. It will be ranging from late teens because most horror's will have age ratings of usually 15 or 18, so there would be no point aiming a film at people who aren't legally allowed to view it.
